Ferroceramic

Ferroceramic was a material that could be used to make armor. The bodies of BT-series ordnance droids were coated in brown and silver colored ferroceramic armor.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Ferroceramic was mentioned in the 2018 roleplaying supplement Fully Operational, which was released by Fantasy Flight Games as part of the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion.^[1] The material originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 1999 novel X-Wing: Isard's Revenge, which was written by Michael A. Stackpole.^[2]
