A Felucian flickerbird was a type of sensitive bird that shared its name with[1] the planet Felucia.[2] In 228 BBY,[3] while aboard the Emissary-class megacruiser Third Horizon, Republic Defense Coalition Admiral Pevel Kronara reflected that while a commander needed to externally appear stone-faced and implacable, they internally needed to be as sensitive as a Felucian flickerbird and attuned to changes in battle conditions, tactical situations, and the emotions of their forces.[1]
Behind the scenes
A Felucian flickerbird was mentioned in the 2025 novel The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]
