An avian native to the planet of Felucia, this creature had a bulbous body and translucent, pale skin.[1]
One of these avians took flight in front of Jedi Knight Aayla Secura during her reconnaissance[1] en route to Niango. The flying creature caught Aayla Secura's eye,[2] thus leaving her unable to defend herself when Commander Bly and his troops opened fire, cutting her down in accordance with Order 66.[1]

Behind the scenes
- "Late in the development of the sequence George decided he wanted to add the equivalent of a flying bird into the sequence. We ended up recycling a creature from one of the other sequences -- a peko peko. We then took a Felucia glass/GummiBear shader and applied it to the bird's geometry so we would have this gelatinous flying bird thing. You're still using the same textures but with a weird translucent characteristic on top of it."
- ―Computer Graphics Supervisor Patrick Myers describes the origin of the Felucian bird.
Since the CGI model for this creature was created using the existing peko peko model from Episode I,[3] and filling it with the same blue substance in the body of a gelagrub, Star Wars Insider refers to this species as the "gummy peko peko," but this is probably just a production nickname and not necessarily an in-universe name.
