The Farlax sector was a sector located in the Core Worlds, near the border of the Deep Core. It contained the Koornacht Cluster.
History
Together, the Farlax and Hatawa sectors contained more than 200 inhabited worlds, a third of which were affiliated with the New Republic. Another third were uninhabited or unclaimed.[3]
Despite its relative proximity to Coruscant, the Farlax sector was mostly unexplored by New Republic surveyors after the departure of the Galactic Empire's Black Sword Command following the Battle of Endor.
