A fanboat was a flat-bottomed vehicle used in swamps that was powered by propeller fans projecting above its stern. The Pongeeta-class speeder retained the basic shape of a traditional Hutt fanboat, with repulsor technology and fan-shaped ion engines instead of actual fans.[1]
