Fallen Revan's Lightsaber was the weapon used by the Jedi-turned-Sith Lord Darth Revan. He used it before and during his reign as the Dark Lord of the Sith. It was destroyed when Darth Malak fired on his Master's ship.[1]
Darth Revan wielded his Sith lightsaber during Bastila Shan's attempt to capture him.
Revan first used this weapon during the later years of the Mandalorian Wars and wielded it against Mandalore the Ultimate. After being turned to the dark side of the Force by the Sith Emperor, Revan kept the saber as his weapon; however, he replaced the original blue crystal with a synthetic crimson one.[4]
During the Jedi Civil War, Revan used this weapon against the Jedi Order. However, it most notably saw use when Bastila Shan led a strike team to capture the Dark Lord aboard his cruiser. The weapon was most certainly destroyed when Malak fired on Revan's ship's bridge, nearly killing the Dark Lord.[1]
Behind the scenes
The lightsaber of "Jedi Knight Revan" in Galaxy of Heroes is in fact his Sith lightsaber.
The hilt for this saber first appeared in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a video game developed by BioWare and released in 2003,[5] as the standard hilt of all one-handed lightsabers in the game.[6] In 2008,[7] it was identified as Darth Revan's lightsaber and depicted in the The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.[8] In 2020, the lightsaber was released on Star Wars: The Old Republic Cartel Market, under the name "Fallen Revan's Lightsaber".[9]
In 2018,[10] the lightsaber was added to the video game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes as the weapon wielded by character "Jedi Knight Revan",[11] while character "Darth Revan", added in 2019,[12] would wield another lightsaber,[11] the weapon usually associated with post-Sith Revan.[9]
