Faded Colors" is a short story in the

Star Wars Roleplaying Game. It was written by

Cynthia Hahn and was published on the

2006.
Plot summary
Barnab Chistor was traveling to the Temple of the Five Masters when he saw smoke rising from the forest. Running ahead, he found the Temple aflame, with many students and some of the Masters killed. Inside he found the "Master in Violet" still alive and fighting a strange assailant. Shooting his unique handgun at the creature, Chistor managed to repel it; however, after fleeing, it animated the corpses of slain students and set them upon Chistor and the Master in Violet.
