The Fadden system was a part of the Slice portion of the Inner Rim.[1] It contained the world of the same name, which at some point was settled by colonists of the Duros species.[2] By 22,000 BBY, a hyperlane connected the Fadden system to the Colonies' Commenor system. The hyperspace route had been extended Rimward to the Pyrshak system[1] by approximately 17,000 BBY[3] and was still in existence by 5000 BBY, but it had ceased to exist by the time of the Mandalorian Wars of 3976 BBY–3960 BBY.[1]

The Fadden system fell within the territory of the Galactic Republic around 22,000 BBY. During the Great Sith War of 3996 BBY, Republic forces passed through the system on their way to a confrontation with the Mandalorian Crusaders in the Japrael system.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Fadden system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square N-11.[1]
