FX-8 was a type of droid with a trunk-like body. The cyborg Guswan Askreeth had everything below the waist replaced with a customized black FX-8 with hidden casters.[1]

Behind the scenes

FX-8 was first mentioned in the 2017 reference book Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In Star Wars Legends, FX-8 droids were created for the 2006 reference book The New Essential Guide to Droids written by Daniel Wallace.
