The FE-3 energy shield was a type of deflector shield that could be equipped to R93 refractor starfighters. The shield was versatile and could vary its capacity based on a starship's flight mode.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the Rokana Raiders used R93 refractors including a ship called the Cutlass which was equipped FE-3 energy shields.[1]

FE-3 energy shield first appeared in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3]
