An exterminator backpack was a type of backpack[1] carried by exterminators hired to control the planet Coruscant's population of conduit worms. Functioning as a current reader,[2] it featured multimetric circuitry and a probe that detected currents weakened by conduit worms[1] and was used in conjungtion with an ion flare gun to locate and kill the creatures.[2]
