A fleet group was active within the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. The fleet group commander was Captain Wilhuff Tarkin, who served under Jedi General Even Piell.^[1] Their flagship was captured by the Separatist Alliance after the two obtained the coordinates for the Nexus Route.^[2]
