The Evader-GT ion drive was a model of ion engine manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. The YV-666 light freighter had two Evader-GT ion drives.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Evader-GT ion drive was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in No Disintegrations,[1] a 2017 supplement for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying game published by Fantasy Flight Games.[2] It originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the second edition of Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters, a 1994 sourcebook published for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.[3]
