Escalion was a male Human Adumari and the perator of the Yedagon Confederacy on the planet Adumar. He provided sanctuary to Red Flight, Iella Wessiri, Cheriss ke Hanadi and Hallis Saper, who at the time were fleeing from the nation of Cartann.
Escalion offered General Wedge Antilles command of the united forces of all nations opposed to Cartann, an offer Antilles accepted. After emerging victorious from the Adumari Civil War, Escalion and the rulers of the other nations formed the Adumari Union.
