Eradicus was a Sith Lord who lived during the New Sith Wars, serving the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Ruin as a squire. Lord Eradicus wore a set of dark armor, a type of plate armor that was infused with the dark side of the Force.[1]
Behind the scenes
- "The caption on p. 89 identifies the outfit in the illustration as the dark armor of "Lord Eradicus, squire to Darth Ruin." Eradicus is, apparently, a new character. As I was working on these endnotes I thought to myself, "hmmm, I wonder where I got Eradicus from" only to find nothing Googleable for that name besides the Book of Sith itself. So apparently I created Eradicus and immediately forgot about him. It happens."
- ―Daniel Wallace, in the endnotes to Book of the Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side
Eradicus was first mentioned in the 2012 publication Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side.[1] The author Daniel Wallace took the character's name from Abel G. Peña, who abandoned the name Eradicus he once planned for the character ultimately named Darth Ruin.[2]
