"Locals call it the Entangled Island. People say it's used as drop-off point for smugglers."
―Mechanic to Kay Vess[1]

The Entangled Island was an island in Lake Amari on the Outer Rim planet Akiva. It was rumored among locals to be a drop-off point for smugglers.[1] During 3 ABY,[2] the materials required to apply a violet Brezak paint scheme to a S57 Cardinal speeder bike were stored in a container on the island.[1]

During the same year,[2] a Weequay mechanic in Sashin, a village in the Karaba Foothills, challenged Kay Vess visited the island noting that they hadn't been able to make to find out if the rumors were true. Vess later traveled to the island after installing a hydro-repulsor in her speeder bike and recovered the paint materials.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Entangled Island first appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. The location contained a paint scheme that players could use to customize the appearance of their speeder bike.[1]
