An energy conversion cell,[1] also known as a power conversion cell,[2] was a power source. Hoersch-Kessel ion drives were regularly modified to accept energy conversion cells as a fuel source[1] in place of power cells or power generators.[3]
Atgar SpaceDefense Corporation's 1.4 FD P-Tower was equipped with eight energy conversion cells. As part of the artillery piece's firing process, the eight energy conversion cells, along with sixteen micropower routers, had to be charged up.[2]
