Elna Zibsara was a human pilot. She fought with the New Republic at the Battle of Jakku, but later retired from service. Following the Hosnian Cataclysm, Temmin Wexley recruited the veteran pilot into the Resistance, where Zibsara specialized in training new recruits. The name "Poe" was inscribed in Aurebesh on her flight helmet.[1]

CONVENTION REVIEW: COVCON JUNIOR 2022 by Williams, Gareth on starwarsautographnews.com (March 12, 2022): "A late addition the line-up was Elizabeth Ansari who played x-wing pilot Elna Zibsara in The Rise of Skywalker. It was Elizabeth's first time attending a convention and she did seem a little shocked by all the attention; but was very friendly and appeared really happy to be signing for fans. I know a lot of people like to collect pilots so hopefully we will see Elizabeth at more conventions in the near future." (backup link archived on May 21, 2022)
