An electrical storm was a weather phenomenon which could occur on the planets Kamino,[1] Nam Chorios,[2] Drongar,[3] and Jabiim.[4] Near the top of Tipoca City's main dome, several static discharge towers were placed which helped secure the city during electrical storms.[1] The electrical storms on Nam Chorios were in fact Force storms generated by the use of The Force.[2] By the time of the Battle of Yavin,[5] the moisture that was left in the atmosphere of Jabiim had become terminally polluted, causing sporadic storms of violent electricity, which further hampered the use of repulsorlift vehicles, such as 2-M Saber-class repulsor tank and T2-B repulsor tank.[4]
