Elamposnia was a monastery world located in the Elamposnia system. It was situated in the Back Reach area of the Gordian Reach sector, within the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. A hyperlane linked it to the Chenowei system.[1]
Elamposnia was reserved for the elect of the Church of the Light,[1] known as Elamposnian monks,[2] who took vows of chastity and poverty. In addition, communities that adhered to the religion occasionally sent their members who had fallen into darkness to Elamposnia for penance.[1]
Behind the scenes
Elamposnia was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square Q-5.[1]
