The Ec Pand system was part of the Induparan Crown Worlds and contained the planet Ec Pand. Rather than the more common beacon-buoy most systems used to mark their jump zone, the system used a large asteroid, towed there by the local government.

The privateer ship, the Free Lance once raided the system.
