Dutonian was a Human male mercenary working on Alderaan during the Cold War. In 3643 BBY Skavak hired him and his men to lay an ambush for the Voidhound in the Hangar RS-32 of Pallista Spaceport on Alderaan. The mercenary's confidence in the numbers against the smuggler led to his death in the firefight.

Sergeant Dutonian led a group of mercenaries that did freelance work for the various Alderaanian Houses during the Alderaan Civil War. In^[2] the year 3643 BBY,^[1] Dutonian accepted a contract from the notorious criminal Skavak to ambush a smuggler in Hangar RS-32 on Alderaan.^[2]

Since the mission and the incident are respectively part of Act I of the Jedi Knight and Republic Trooper's storylines, and the Trooper's Act I occurs concurrent to Act I of the Smuggler storyline, the general events of the Prologue and Act I for all classes can be assumed to occur in 3643 BBY. As the events on Alderaan for the Smuggler class, including the death of Dutonian, take place during Act I, they can therefore be inferred to take place in 3643 BBY.
