Dura-Kahn was a planet in the Expansion Region. It was part of the Galactic Empire and inhabited by Humans who maintained a tradition of big game hunting. One young native hunter was Moradmin Bast, who became an Imperial officer.[3]
The bounty hunter Jodo Kast, a long-time partner of Puggles Trodd and Zardra, decided to end their partnership with both of them on this planet. Kast had come to this decision because too many missions that had involved Trodd and Zardra had failed, almost taking Kast's life in the process. Since that moment, Kast began working alone, at least until his fatal run-in with Boba Fett, whom the bounty hunter had been attempting to impersonate on occasion.[4]
