A Dud IV piece hanging from a handlebar
A Dud IV was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled a shock grenade. A single Dud was worth a negative point with each additional Dud doubling that negative score.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] one such piece had been stored in a container at Hutt Supply Camp in the Hunter's Canopy region of the Outer Rim jungle planet Akiva.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] a thief named Kay Vess found the container and stole the Dud IV piece.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Dud IV Canto Pass piece appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was one of several Canto Pass pieces that could be collected in the game and used as trinkets to customize the appearance of the player's S57 Cardinal speeder bike and the interior of the Trailblazer, the player's EML-850 light freighter.[1]
