A Dud III piece hanging from a handlebar
A Dud III was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled a Sonic Imploder. A single Dud was worth a negative point with each additional Dud doubling that negative score.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] an individual named Alma stashed one such piece in a container in the North Jundland Wastes region of the Outer Rim desert planet Tatooine.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] a thief named Kay Vess found the container and stole the Dud III piece.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Dud III Canto Pass piece appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was one of several Canto Pass pieces that could be collected in the game and used as trinkets to customize the appearance of the player's S57 Cardinal speeder bike and the interior of the Trailblazer, the player's EML-850 light freighter.[1]
