Dooku - Der verlorene Jedi (Dooku: Jedi Lost in English) is a German novelization of the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, which was originally written by Cavan Scott. However, the novelization differs greatly from the original audio drama and its script beyond just translation, changing several scenes and referencing a number of elements from Star Wars Legends, as well as continuity errors such as mentions of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer that did not exist during the events of the audio drama.

According to Senior Star Wars Lore Advisor Leland Chee,[2] he was never made aware of the German novelization and that it was likely never reviewed by their team.[3]

I'm asking due to the confusion the book has somewhat caused canon wise due to its supposed deviation from the source material and exclusive recanonization to several Legends subjects including [[Sorzus Syn]], [[rakghoul plague]], and the [[Muur Talisman]].")
