Dooku's journal was an old leather-bound datapad that documented Dooku's time in the Jedi Order and which chronicled his rise in the Order until his departure. The journal contained his lessons with Grand Master Yoda, voyages to Mantooine, Lahsbane and Kashyyyk, diplomatic encounters, rescues, mercy missions, and a time when Dooku and his master liberated a star system from the necrotic queen. The journal was kept on Serenno but later given to Asajj Ventress. The assassin reviewed its contents while on her mission to locate and free Dooku's sister Jenza who had been kidnapped; she had hoped to understand more about Dooku through the journal.[1]
The journal was incinerated after Jenza's death with Dooku ordering his sister's death be covered up; Ventress doused the location in gas before lighting it and sending the journal into the blaze as well.[1]
