In 9 ABY,[3] a dogfight occurred between Morgan Elsbeth's forces and former Jedi Padawan and Fulcrum agent Ahsoka Tano in the Denab system, where Tano and her apprentice Sabine Wren discovered the Eye of Sion. At Morgan Elsbeth's command, the Force-sensitive mercenaries Shin Hati and Marrok led a starfighter squadron against Tano and Wren, and attempted to destroy the T-6 1974 shuttle carrying the Jedi and her student. During the dogfight, Tano's droid Huyang scanned the Eye of Sion which was a large hyperspace transport ring, but her T-6 shuttle was damaged in the process. Hati's squadron pursued the Jedi to the planet Seatos where both parties encountered and maneuvered around several purrgil. Ultimately the Jedi escaped from Hati and Marrok, whose squadmates were killed during the battle.[1]

"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 dates the events of "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Star Wars: Timelines. Preceding episodes, also take place in that year, since they take place after Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, which is dated to 9 ABY according to Timelines. As "Part Eight: The Jedi, the Witch, and the Warlord" takes place shortly after Part Seven, the events of Ahsoka as a whole must all take place within the same year.
