Disruptor pistol

While once dominant across the battlefields of the galaxy, use of disruptor weaponry was banned for several generations. As a result, disruptor pistols were manufactured only under close Imperial scrutiny, and the vast majority of disruptor weaponry in the galaxy was salvaged from ancient battlefields, preserved by happenstance.^[1]

Despite their highly restricted status, modern designs were appealing to assassins and spies as a result of how they could destroy any evidence of their crimes completely. The Tenloss Syndicate served most of the market, employing Outlaw Techs to design and manufacture their own line of disruptor pistols.^[1]

Disruptor pistols were often bulky and had very limited ranges, though it was unclear if this was a result of the weapons' ancient designs Outlaw Techs replicated, rather than some inherent limitation on disruptor weaponry.^[1]
