- "Others such as Disorders of Magnitude depicted crazed idealogues who claimed to possess 'magic powers' and sought to indoctrinate children and twist them against their parents."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
Disorders of Magnitude was a holodrama and piece of anti-Jedi propaganda created by the Coalition for Progress of the Galactic Empire. Created to paint the Force-using Jedi Order in a negative light, the drama depicted crazed ideologues that aimed to indoctrinate children and turn them against their parents, claiming to possess "magic powers." The shared reference points used by the drama and other pieces of propaganda struck a mark with the audience despite the villains never explicitly being identified as Jedi.[1] In 35 ABY,[2] the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned Disorders of Magnitude in[1] his[3] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
Disorders of Magnitude was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
