The Dewback Ramblers were a band led by Blerx Tango during the Galactic Civil War.

History

After the Battle of Yavin, the band was based out of the Lucky Star cantina in Mos Entha. The band was led by the kloo horn player Blerx Tango, and staffed by three other members. The members consisted of a slitherhorn player named Jakko Mixon, an ommni box player named Mellaw Doowon, and a mandoviol player named Baze Joz.^[1]

In 1 ABY,^[2] three of the members got in trouble, including with the Galactic Empire, and had to be rescued by a spacer employed by Blerx.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Dewback Ramblers appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony and published by LucasArts,^[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[3]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
