"His name's Mixon Guncher. If you've heard of him, none of that stuff about his weird behavior is true. Well, not much. He does wear a lot of perfume."
Blerx Tango, to a spacer[1]

Jakko Mixon , also known as Mixon Guncher was a male Bith and slitherhorn player in a band called the Dewback Ramblers.

Biography

"Our slitherhorn player just arrived on Tatooine, but he got suckered by the old ""free transport to Bestine"" con game. He's stranded in the desert and needs an escort. Can you help?"
―Blerx Tango, to a spacer[1]

After the Battle of Yavin, Jakko Mixon and the Dewback Ramblers operated out of the Lucky Star cantina in Mos Entha, on the planet Tatooine.[1]

In 1 ABY,[2] Jakko Mixon fell for an old scam, where he believed he could get a cheap ride from someone to Bestine. Instead, Jakko ended up stranded in the desert. Fortunately for him, the leader of the band, Blerx Tango, employed a spacer to find Jakko and bring him back safely to Mos Entha.[1]

Behind the scenes

Blerx Tando was a non-player character (NPC) in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] In the game, players doing a mission for Blerx Tango had to rescue Jakko.[1]

Though not mentioned in the quest dialogue, examining Jakko revealed him to also be a sniper.

  2. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
