The Second Battle of Nomad City was a raid launched by Grand Admiral Thrawn to supply his shipyards in the Bilbringi system with much-needed hfredium and kammris.
The battle
Thrawn sent three Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers to acquire them; after cutting off communications in Nomad City, and disabling both the city and its accompanying shieldships, Thrawn received large amounts of credits and four months worth of supplies.
Aftermath
The mobile city was disabled, and was unable to get away from the oncoming and deadly sunrise of Nkllon. However, the Peregrine arrived, commanded by General Garm Bel Iblis. Bel Iblis' forces helped evacuate the citizens of Nomad City. Bel Iblis and Lando Calrissian asked Admiral Hiram Drayson to lend part of his fleet to save the city, but Drayson refused. Nomad City was nevertheless rescued and repaired, only for Lando to lose it in a Sabacc game.
