The Destrier was a starship that was destroyed during the reign of the Galactic Empire and the human Soran Keize's first years in the Imperial Starfighter Corps. Keize looked back on the destruction as one of the events that taught him about his responsibility to protect the lives of his cohorts in order to protect even more.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Destrier was mentioned in canon in the 2021 novel Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, written by Alexander Freed.[1] In Star Wars Legends, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Destrier was mentioned in 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, written by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[2]
