The title of despot was held by the pirate Xim during his reign over his empire starting in 25,130 BBY. He was defeated and dethroned in the third battle on the planet Vontor against the Hutt Empire in 25,100 BBY, after which he died in captivity. Millennia later, during the time of the New Republic[1] the volume that contained the field guide of zoologist Lyrre T'enna stated that some despots were viewed with contempt throughout the history maintained in ionic journals and on the HoloNet.[2]
