Dereth was a male felinoid alien.[1] He was a gambler and con artist[2] who was partnered with Jabot.[1] Together, the pair had won a fortune cheating at Helcos and sabacc tournaments.[2] They used an implant communicator to cheat at Helcos and beat the Borlorian Merex.[1]
