Delva Racine was a Human female fashion designer and Core Worlds socialite native to the[1] planet[2] Coruscant.[1] A challenging designer,[3] she specialized in outrageous ensembles that incorporated inspirations from species from the Outer Rim territories. During the Clone Wars, Racine introduced her summer Kubaz collection and it was uniformly panned by the the media.[1]
In 19 BBY,[4] Racine, who had released another collection,[3] visited the Galaxies Opera House[5] in the Uscru Entertainment District of Coruscant.[6] She walked up the opera house's stairs with a Human as the Jedi Anakin Skywalker ran past to meet with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[5] Racine had light skin, brown hair kept in two buns on the sides of her head.[1] At the opera house, she wore googles, a brown neckpiece with a horn-like mask, armbands with silver tassels, a light beige tunic, a brown belt, a skirt of silver tassels, and sliver heels.[7]
Behind the scenes
Delva Racine first appeared in the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith,[5] which released on May 19, 2005.[8] Racine was played by real-life British fashion designer Alice Shreeve, who is the creative director of the London-based women's wear label Belle & Bunty.[9] Concept art of the character was drawn by artist Sang Jun Lee.[10] The opera steps scene that included Shreeve[5] was filmed at Shepperton Studios as part of additional photography on August 23, 2004.[11] Racine was identified in the reference book Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith: The Visual Dictionary, written by James Luceno[12] and published before the film's release on April 2, 2005.[13]
