Defender of the Home Tree was a title the Wookiees of Kashyyyk bestowed upon Yoda, Grand Master of the Jedi Order, for assisting them in many tense negotiations with their system neighbors, the Trandoshans.[1] Yoda also earned the honor for helping the Wookiees defend Kashyyyk from Separatist raiders in 19 BBY.[3]
