The Vault security contingent composed of stormtroopers springing into action upon the tripping of a DefStat Three alert

DefStat was a multilevel security alert protocol carried out in Imperial installations such as the complex on Scarif. A DefStat Three alert meant that an infiltration had been detected. That level of alert was tripped when Jyn Erso and Cassian Andor entered the complex's vault.[1]
