Deena was an individual who worked for De'Rruyet Industries during the Galactic Civil War at the De'Rruyet Center on the[2] planet[3] Midarr.[2] In 3 ABY,[1] Deena's boss, Beol De'Rruyet acquired a fake Nihil Path engine hyperdrive[2] via a black market network[4] which he claimed he could replicate, and planned to unveil at the De'Rruyet Industries confluence.[5] Before he could unveil the hyperdrive, however, forces of the Unbroken Clan criminal syndicate led by General Vukorah, who had learned of De'Rruyet's hyperdrive and wanted it for herself, took over the center and took De'Rruyet and his employees, including Deena, hostage. As one of Deena's fellow employees attempted to bring the hyperdrive online for Vukorah, the general grew impatient and shot Deena, killing them.[2]
