The Deco Straits were a location that housed a number of Imperial factions. After the Battle of Jakku[1] in 5 ABY,[2] one of the remaining factions attempted to continually recruit the freelance slicer Dellen Aphra, but she refused each time. Eventually, the faction sent three individuals to her safe house on the astronomical object Provina to forcibly recruit her. Their plan failed, however, partly due to the intervention of Dellen's half-sister Chelli Lona Aphra.[1]
