Dealer droids,[1] also known as casino droids[2] or croupier droids,[3] were droids used by casinos to deal cards. Some of them, for aesthetic and ornamental reasons, were plated in polished copper. A number of them were located at an underground resort on the planet Bastatha.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the short comic "Off the Rails," the featured croupier droid greatly resembles[4] the GE3-series protocol droid seen in the Legends video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.[5]
