The Daruvvia system was located in the Lorelli Reach, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected by the hyperlane known as the Lorell Route to the Ket and Sennex systems.[1]
The Daruvvia system was home to the creatures known as vhorks[2] and was the origin point of the beverage known as Daruvvian champagne.[3][4]
Behind the scenes
The Daruvvia system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]

- ↑ The Essential Atlas and Galactic Cartography: Official Discussion (post by jasonfry) on the Jedi Council Forums' Literature board (December 11, 2007): "I wouldn't get your hopes up re alien homeworlds, beyond simple stuff like the Planetnamian species getting a Planetnamia on the map or things Dan and I can account for with a relatively quick reference." (backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Daruvvian champagne in relation to the Daruvvia system.
