Darric Tevul was a reporter for The Perre Needmo Newshour[1] in 44 ABY.[2] Sima Shadar, the show's producer, suggested Tevul to report on the growing discourse regarding slavery on worlds such as Tatooine, Karfeddion and Thalassia but Perre Needmo shot down the idea and asserted they needed to put a reporter on the scenes instead.[1]

Darric Tevul was first mentioned in the 2010 novel Fate of the Jedi: Allies written by Christie Golden.[1]
