- "Oh, sorry!"
[Darrb grumbles]
"Didn't mean to do that." - ―Kazuda Xiono and Darrb, after the former spills the latter's produce
A fruit and vegetable stand was owned by the Gabdorin vendor Darrb on the planet Varkana. In 34 ABY, Resistance operative Kazuda Xiono spilled a pot of the stand's wares, causing Darrb to throw a piece of produce at the former.
Description
The stand was located in Vargo Spaceport on[1] the Outer Rim[2] planet Varkana,[1] owned by the Gabdorin vendor Darrb.[2] Its roof consisted of large green material edged by gray frames, which kept it suspended in broad arches. The stand kept several containers of various shapes[1] filled with multicolored fruits and vegetables for sale to customers.[2]
History
- "Ow! Hey! I'm taking this!"
- ―Kazuda Xiono, to Darrb, after the vendor hits the former with a piece of produce outside the stand
Darrb threw produce at Kazuda Xiono after he spilled a pot of the stand's produce.
By the time of the war between the First Order and the Resistance, the stand operated on Varkana, staffed by its owner, Darrb.[1] In 34 ABY,[3] Resistance operatives Kazuda Xiono and Jarek Yeager,[1] the pirate[2] Synara San, and Xiono's astromech droid, CB-23, traveled to Varkana to track a Resistance distress signal initiated by the spy Norath Kev. Xiono looked backward to speak to Yeager while walking past the stand, causing[1] him[2] to trip over a pot carrying some of the stall's wares.[1]
As Darrb shouted angrily at him, Xiono apologized and helped gather the spilled items. Darrb walked out from behind the stand and took the container from Xiono, throwing produce at the Resistance operative in frustration. Xiono called out in surprise upon being hit in the head and quickly left the area, taking the piece of produce with him.[1]
Behind the scenes
The stand first appeared in "The Missing Agent,"[1] the twelfth episode of the second season of the Star Wars Resistance animated television series, which aired on December 22, 2019.[4] Chris "Doc" Wyatt,[5] a writer for Star Wars Resistance,[6] indicated that the fruits and vegetables at the stall had names. However, when asked, Wyatt was unable to remember what they were as identified as.[5]
