Dark Cave

The Dark Cave was located in the Great Chott salt flat region of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine[1]

During 3 ABY,[2] the Merqaal Nix guided his companion Kay Vess through the cave to an overlook where he found the horns of an animal. Nix liked to chew on them and sharpen his claws on them.[1]

Behind the scenes

The dark cave appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The location was one of the areas in the game where the player follows Nix through the environment to find a collectible; in this case, the "Horns" Nix treasure. This along with other Nix treasures found on Tatooine could be traded with Berek Keehro in Mirogana on Toshara to unlock the red headband cosmetic for Nix.[1]
