Dantooine's Second Star was a planetoid nestled within the Dantooine system's Ferionic Nebula. Somewhat round in appearance, the iron asteroid was actually designated a planetoid, and was under the control of a little known, small band of thugs called the Velocity Mercenaries. The mercenaries mostly kept to themselves, until the Galactic Empire moved into the area. Following the Empire's incursion, the Velocity Mercenaries began launching continuous attacks against them, hoping to drive the Empire out of Area Ferionic 7-IK.
