Dantari ore was a substance believed by some to only be found on the[1] Outer Rim planet[2] Dantooine.[1] By 3 ABY,[3] the ore had been found in the Canyon of Akar on the jungle planet Akiva which was also located in the Outer Rim. According to at least one explorer the ore deposit was the result of a giant asteroid made up of Dantari crashing into the planet thousands of years prior.[1]
Behind the scenes
Dantari ore was first mentioned in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was mentioned in an ambient conversation that players can overhear while in Myrra near The Alcazar cantina.[1]
