Danish was a type of circular dough-based dish. In 0 BBY, while on board of the Tantive IV spacecraft, stormtrooper Buford commented on Leia Organa's hairstyle, with two large distinct circular buns on the sides of her head, comparing them to the dish, by calling her the "Danish-head".[1][2]

Behind the scene

Danish pastry is a multilayered, laminated dough-based dish originating from Denmark and Austria. It was first mentioned in the non-canonical television special Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars, which aired in 2014.
