Damaya was a Dathomiri female who was one of the witches of the Singing Mountain Clan. She was the niece of Baritha. Damaya fought against Gethzerion and her Nightsisters during the Battle of the Singing Mountain in 8 ABY.[1] Sometime after that conflict, she joined the New Jedi Order.[3] During the Yuuzhan Vong War, she fought alongside Kirana Ti to protect Dathomir and her people from the Yuuzhan Vong invaders.[4] After the war, Damaya, Kirana Ti, and Streen did a great deal of work[3] to establish a Jedi academy on Dathomir.[5]
